Knife master spell attack8/14/2023 ![]() It's really powerful, although in the campaign the liberal interpretation of flanking rules makes it less important. ![]() I often give melee rogues at least 14 str to start so I can raise it to 15 levelling up just for that even though they're getting dex to damage at level 3. Since it's mostly Monk, Traditional Monk makes sense because it has better saves, but Scaled Fist keys off cha, and flurry + twf + sneak attack excels with charisma-driven Intimidate for Dreadful Carnage or Cornugon Smash so you can make enemies vulnerable to sneak attack would flanking. Main character being skill poor sucks in the campaign.Īlso I think Scaled Fist may work out better. Go 19 if it lets you use all your point buy and leave an uneven distro but 20 is icing in the cake. You really don't need 20 in a starting stat. I would raise con to 14, an an MC in the campaign you can survive with less but it's really dicey for a front line character, glass cannons just don't work well there unless you're gonna save scum a ton. That being said flurry + twf + intimidate + sneak attack does massive damage. There are some nice sais but there are relatively few monk weapons in general, some of the best sais come from artisans so there's some RNG too. I guess I want the Frontline capability of the monk w/o fist + burst of km's sneak attack. ![]() And I went for 8 str, 20 dex, 12 con, 8 int, 18 wis, and 10 cha. I read about attaching vivi instead of km but I'm a little apprehensive about how op it is and might be confusing for me to play it.Īlso, should I be dumping stats? I'm currently trying the build out in the roguelike dlc on easy just to see the progression. With that said, it seems like I'll be limiting myself to monk + km sans the fighter then?Īre there good sais from early on to late game? More like how reliably can I get sais early on?Īfter lurking around to find a build I wanna go for on my first playthrough, I probably want to go for a monk/knifemaster unless it does not hold up well later on. ![]() I read from someone that technically without going too deep into the game, you can only reach level 16. Hi everyone! I'm new here and to the game.Ī little unsure if it holds up. Reddit's Rules of Order The entirety of the rules of Reddit still apply here.
